OUR STRENGTHS
Champorcher Slopes
Champorcher is a ski resort in the Aosta Valley, located at the base of the valley of the same name crossed by the Ayasse stream, and is the closest resort for those arriving from Turin or Milan. With a skiarea of 21 km of slopes, Champorcher is part of the vast Monterosa Ski area and offers well-maintained trails for skiers of all levels.
The resort’s name has historical origins: it derives from Porcier, or San Porzio in Italian, a saint who, having escaped the massacre of the Theban Legion, took refuge in the valley to preach. Hence Champorcher, the “Camp of Porcier,” was born.
For expert skiers looking for a challenge, the Bosco slope is not to be missed: a challenging slope used by several national teams for training ahead of the World Cup.
If, on the other hand, you are looking for breathtaking views, the Cimetta Rossa Express chairlift will take you to 2,500 meters, where you can admire Mount Cervino, Monte Rosa, the Dondena basin and the glaciers of the White Rose and Mont Glacier . And for an adrenaline-filled experience, launch yourself down Slope 13, an arduous but exhilarating track!
