Alagna - Monterosa Ski Slopes
Alagna Valsesia, located in upper Valsesia in the province of Vercelli, is one of the most important ski resorts at the foot of Monte Rosa, surrounded by unspoiled wilderness. Famous worldwide as a freeride paradise, Alagna stands out not only for its slopes, but also for its picturesque Walser villages and watermills, which give the resort a unique and unforgettable atmosphere for those who visit it.
In addition to the thrill of freeriding, which is the heart of the resort, one of the most memorable experiences is the panoramic view that can be enjoyed from the Indren Glacier, located at 3,260 meters above sea level. From this spectacular point, the view sweeps over the entire Valsesia, Gressoney, the lakes of the Po Valley and the entire Alpine chain, providing a simply unforgettable panorama.
Alagna is also connected to the vast Monterosa Ski area via the Passo dei Salati, offering skiers access to an extensive network of slopes and breathtaking scenery.
